PRONUNCIACIONES
Sonido /K/ : (K/Q)
  • Fonema oclusivo velar sordo. /k/Se pronuncia colocando la parte posterior de la lengua en el velo del paladar.
  • En inglés equivale al sonido /k/
USOS:
La grafía c se utiliza para el sonido /K/ ante A, O, U, mientras que para las vocales e, i, se utiliza el dígrafo qu. La grafía k, es más extraña en español, y se utiliza con el mismo sonido ante todas las vocales.

Sonido /CH/ : (C + H)
Sonido africado prepalatal sordo. En Hispanoamérica y Andalucía puede tener una entonación fricativa, africada palatal (intervocálica) o africada débil.
Desde el año 1994 por acuerdo de la Academia no se considera una letra individual en el alfabeto, como ocurría en el alfabeto latino, por tratarse de un dígrafo compuesto de dos consonantes c + h Chimenea, charco, chepa, chulo, chopo

SESEO:

The C before ei and the Z before aeiou, Latinoamerica and in the south of Spain and the Canary Islands, it is pronounced as an /s/ (unvoiced fricative predorsal phoneme).
USOS:

The letter c is used for the sound /θ/ before EI, and in order to form the plural of the words that end in z.
The letter z is used before AOU, and in some words that have z as zinc, Zeus.
USOS:

The letter c is employed for the sound /K/ before AOU, while for the vowels ei, the digraph qu is used.
The letter k is not very frequent is spanish and it is pronounced with the same sound before all the vowels

Depuis 1994, l’Académie espagnole ne le considère pas une lettre individuelle de l’alphabet puisqu’il s’agit d’un digramme composé de deux consonnes c+h:

« SESEO » :
Prononciation du phonème /s/ dans les cas suivants: un c suivi de e ou i et un z suivi de a, e, i, o, u (phonème fricatif alvéolaire sourde).
Ce phénomène est répandu en Andalousie, aux Canaries, en Amérique hispanique et au sud d’Espagne.

EMPLOI

On utilise la graphie c avant les voyelles E, I pour construire le pluriel des mots qui finissent par z
On utilise la graphie z avant A, O, U et dans les cas particuliers des mots qui s’écrivent avec z comme zinc, Zeus.

EMPLOI

Pour reproduire le son /K/ on utilise la graphie c avant A, O, U, tandis que pour les voyelles e,i on utilise le digramme qu.
En espagnol la graphie k, est beaucoup moins utilisée. Elle reproduit le même son avec toutes les voyelles.
